A purpose-built 4 + 1 channel AC resistance bridge for dilution-refrigerator thermometry — precise, standalone, and scriptable, engineered from day one as an OEM-friendly building block for manufacturer control systems and turnkey cryogenic platforms.
CryoBridge is a no-frills millikelvin temperature controller designed to drop cleanly into manufacturer control systems and turnkey cryogenic platforms. It performs phase-sensitive lock-in resistance measurement on up to four thermometers with a fifth closed-loop heater channel — keeping self-heating below 1 fW so you measure the fridge, not the bridge.
Every design choice favours integration over consumer-grade polish: standalone operation with no PC required, an open SCPI command set, an Ethernet web UI, and a hardware emergency stop independent of firmware. For manufacturer-direct and OEM inquiries, contact info@gssquantum.com.
Phase-sensitive AC measurement at programmable excitation. Self-heating held below 1 fW so you measure the fridge, not the bridge.
Embedded controller runs autonomously — no PC required. OLED front panel shows live channels, setpoint, and heater state.
Ethernet web UI for configuration and logging. SCPI over USB for drop-in compatibility with LabVIEW and existing scripts.
A dedicated front-panel interrupt kills all heater outputs instantly — independent of firmware. Because mistakes warm fast.
On-instrument PID for the heater channel with anti-windup, ramp limits, and configurable safety bounds.
Clean APIs, deterministic behaviour, and no consumer-grade frills — designed to slot into manufacturer control systems.
GSS Instruments is the hardware line of GroundState Strategy — building precision measurement instruments for the lowest-noise corner of the lab: ultra-low-temperature physics and quantum experiments. CryoBridge is our first product. We build the instruments we wanted to buy.
Reef leads CryoBridge's electronics and hardware design. A high-school senior at Niwot High School, he works in analog electronics, PCB design, and scientific research, and is pursuing a career in electrical and mechanical engineering.
Jack directs GroundState Strategy and its instruments line, setting product strategy and OEM partnerships. He brings a research background in the physical sciences and leads the company's quantum market-intelligence work at gssquantum.com.
Early-access customers get pre-release pricing, a direct line to the design team, and influence over the final firmware feature set. Manufacturer-direct and OEM inquiries welcome.
